The role focuses on fraud protection solutions for merchants and on building cloud-native, AI-augmented systems that protect customers at scale. Key Responsibilities: - Execute creative software solutions and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services (S3, Aurora, ECS, EKS, Lambda) - Automate infrastructure provisioning with CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK - Develop secure production code and review others' work - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS application performance - Implement IAM policies, encryption, and security compliance - Lead communities of practice for cloud technologies - Utilize AI agents for prototyping and demonstrations - Deliver results within tight deadlines Required Qualifications: - 5+ years applied software engineering experience - Extensive hands-on AWS experience (S3, Aurora, ECS, EKS, Lambda, etc.) - Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Python, or Node.js - Advanced CI/CD and agile methodology knowledge - Financial services industry experience - GitHub Copilot experience - Proven high-volume, low-latency transactional systems experience Preferred Qualifications: - Full stack development expertise - Case management workflow experience - Vibe coding experience
