About the Role: As Lead IT Engineer on the Productivity Systems team, you will own the platforms and governance frameworks that determine how every Nubanker uses internal tools and AI coding assistants. You will lead enterprise automation, communication infrastructure, and AI governance — striking the balance between developer freedom and the security/compliance bar a regulated bank requires. Core Responsibilities: - Lead enterprise automation platforms (n8n) for cross-business workflows - Design communication infrastructure using AWS SES for high availability - Develop AI governance frameworks balancing developer freedom with security, including standards and guardrails for AI coding assistants and agents (Cursor, Copilot, vibe coding workflows) - Define standards for developer tools like Postman - Mentor senior engineers and align technical solutions with company policies Required Qualifications: - Modern programming proficiency (Clojure, Java, or Python preferred) - 7+ years software engineering experience - AWS hands-on experience (SES, Lambda, IAM) with Infrastructure-as-Code - Workflow automation platform experience (n8n, Zapier or equivalent) - Experience defining policies, standards, or governance for developer tooling at scale - Advanced English fluency Skills/Areas: Vibe Coding, AI Governance, AWS, n8n, Workflow Automation, Developer Productivity Benefits: Equity, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), mental health support, relocation assistance available.
