Onform Finance – Technology Lead (Low-Code, Data & Automation)

OnForm Finance provides outsourced accounting and fractional CFO services to founder-led businesses. We are hiring a Technology Lead to drive modern AI and automation adoption across our finance operations — someone who can identify opportunities, build prototypes, and ship tools that make a real difference to how our team works. About the Role: This is a hands-on leadership role sitting at the intersection of technology and finance operations. You will own our technology roadmap, build internal tools using AI and low-code platforms, and act as a change agent across the business. Key Responsibilities: - Build internal tools using AI and low-code platforms to improve delivery and operations - Stand up the data foundation: a central data warehouse pulling from Xero, Shopify, Stripe, and other sources - Establish security procedures and data governance for sensitive financial data - Drive team adoption of new technologies through training and change management - Own the technology roadmap and vendor relationships - Identify repetitive tasks and automate them end-to-end - Integrate automation tools across multiple platforms Core Requirements: - Proven, hands-on experience shipping software with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Lovable) - Proficiency with low-code platforms such as Airtable, Zapier, n8n - API/integration experience across SaaS platforms - Data warehouse and SQL expertise - Security and governance implementation experience - Experience in accounting or finance operations preferred - Strong change management skills Compensation: £5,000–£7,000/month gross (independent contractor) Location: Fully remote, UK/EU timezone preferred Benefits: 25 days leave plus birthday off, remote IT setup, company offsites
