About this role

As an Intern/Working Student in Vibe Coding for AI Security, you will support the development of rapid software prototypes and internal tools using AI coding assistants. Role Intern/Working Student (d/m/w/x) in Vibe Coding for AI Security at Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation. You will work in an agile team on rapid software prototypes, internal tools, and automation solutions using modern AI coding technologies. Key Responsibilities - Develop prototypes, MVPs, and automation solutions using AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code). - Research, test, and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and open-source projects for AI-assisted software development. - Create and maintain project configurations (e.g. SKILL.md, ARCHITECTURE.md) to provide context for AI agents. - Design your own solution approaches, integrate data from various sources, and test the results. - Support the team on topics such as AI Red Teaming, AI Governance, and securing AI systems by providing suitable tooling. Requirements - Enrolled student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable program. - Solid programming skills in at least one language (e.g. Python, TypeScript, JavaScript). - Confident use of Git and GitHub. - Active use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code; experience prompting LLMs. - Some familiarity with SKILL.md files, MCP servers, agent frameworks, or orchestration of AI workflows is a plus. - Basic interest in AI Security; deep prior knowledge is not required. - Analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and strong communication skills. - Proficiency with office tools (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Teams). - Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
