About this role
Substack is hiring a Product Manager focused on creator success and growth. You will join a small, fast-moving team building the publishing infrastructure that powers tens of thousands of writers, podcasters, and video creators on the platform. About the Role: You will talk to customers daily, work with engineers directly, and design and execute the go-to-market motion for the products you ship. You own product strategy, marketing, and rollout end-to-end for a full-stack team — from defining the problem, to shipping the feature, to making sure creators understand and adopt it. What we're looking for: - Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and ship 0-to-1 products that move metrics - Independent ability to build charts and tools using current software development tools (you can vibe code some things) - Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to act without complete information - Strong written and verbal communication; you can write a brief that a designer, engineer, and exec can all act on - Customer-obsessed: you talk to creators constantly and bring their voice into every product decision - Bias toward shipping and learning rather than over-planning If this sounds more exciting than daunting, that's a good sign. Compensation: $180,000 – $235,000/yr, plus equity and benefits. Fully remote within the United States.
